Artist In Residence Exchange Program | Loading x Performistanbul
The program, held simultaneously between Diyarbakır and Istanbul is an artist in residence and curatorial development program for performance artists. It aims to encourage artists who live in the regions affected by the earthquake and provide guidance to support their research, production, project development and exhibition processes. It also serves as a gathering place for individuals engaged in arts in the earthquake-stricken region, enabling them to connect with like-minded people and enhance their interests, while providing support and space for them to strengthen and sustain their work. Thus, the program aims to foster permanent connections between different cities.
Loading and Performistanbul are supported by SAHA as part of Art Initiatives Sustainability Fund 2023.
