Academic Studies Series

İt is a public conversation program developed within the Performistanbul Live Art Research Space, has been ongoing since 2023, with its first sessions taking place in June of that year. Bringing together artists, academics, and researchers from diverse disciplines and practices, the series explores concepts such as performance, performance art, performativity, and live art through critical and interdisciplinary perspectives. This edited volume brings together articles developed from presentations by researchers and scholars who participated in the series. The book aims to assemble academic essays alongside field experiences, creative writing, and performance-based narratives.

The series has been organized and programmed by İzel Karaca and Özgül Akıncı.
