Clara Pereda

Clara Pereda is an artist from Spain, based in London, working across mediums such as performance, moving image, writing and sculpture, usually through collaborative processes. After studying Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, she completed an MA in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art, London, in 2019. She was recipient of the XXXI Circuitos de Artes Plásticas grant on 2020 and recent exhibitions include: ‘Cayó la casa, trepó la dama’, Sala de Arte Joven, Madrid, 2020-21; ‘Recovery’, Chalton Gallery, London, 2020; ’Incidental People’, Flat Time House, London, 2019; ’When They Flow’, Chisenhale Studios, London, 2018; ‘Women’s Art Practice and Thinking’, Dorich House Museum, Kingston, 2018. She has led tutorials, workshops and artist talks at Sala de Arte Joven, Madrid; National College of Art and Design, Dublin; Farnham University for the Creative Arts and Camberwell College of Art, University of the Arts, London.
