Enter the room.
Close the door, have a seat.
Confess.

The act of confession designates the begining of a healing process through which the individual may find peace and relief. Room performance focuses on the liberating and comforting aspect of confessing while transforming the space to a place where the spectator face her/himself without “other”s judgement. The artist will reproduce her performance “Room” in various cities and venues. In the end of the project, she aims to create a memory cabinet with the archived confessions, that she recorded and collected anonymously during her performances, by gathering the in a book.

“Room”, is realised in collaboration with Performistanbul and İklim Sanat Projesi.
